There's nothing easier than buying flatbread, tossing some veggies and cheese on top, and having a tasty but quick appetizer. It doesn't matter what type of flatbread you buy. They're all precooked and ready to top with yummies.
I like to put some herbs on the base with a little olive oil. Basil is my favorite. Then add any of the following: sliced tomato (Roma, cherry or grape - nothing too soupy), avocado, olives, chopped onion, chopped jalepeño pepper, etc. My favorite cheese topping is Monterey Jack. But I also love fresh mozzarella or goat cheese.
Cut into small bites and you have a winner. Quick, easy and tasty!
